Accessibility statement.
Everyone should be able to read this site and reach us. Here's the standard we build to, how we test, and how to tell us when something doesn't work.
Our standard
We design and build greenbriarrussell.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is our target, and we test against it. We don't claim the site is perfect, and we fix problems as we find them.
No overlay widgets
We don't use accessibility overlays or widgets. We would rather fix problems in the code than layer a tool on top of the page.
How we test
- Semantic HTML. Headings, landmarks, lists and form labels that assistive technology can read.
- Keyboard testing. Links, buttons and form fields work without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
- Automated checks. Every release runs axe-core accessibility tests at desktop and 320-pixel widths, plus a keyboard focus check on the mobile menu, and doesn't deploy if any fail.
- Color contrast. Our color tokens are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios: 4.5 to 1 for body text and 3 to 1 for large text and interface elements.
Known limitations
None known at launch. If we find any, we'll list them here with a plan to fix them.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. It usually runs without any action from you. If it ever stops you, email us and we'll take your information directly.
Feedback
If something on this site doesn't work for you, email accessibility@greenbriarrussell.com. Tell us the page and what happened. We'll reply within two business days.
Alternative formats
If you need any content in another format, such as plain text or large print, ask and we'll provide it. We're also glad to walk you through it on a call.
